Glenn Ferguson
Glenn is the owner/operator of Ottawa Valley Kayak and South Coast Outfitters in Jamaica. In 1997, Glenn left the stressful, deadline-focused world of advertising to become a professional sea kayak instructor and guide. Over the last few years, he has taught kayaking, paddling and rolling techniques to people of various skill levels. He has lead weekend and week-long trips in the Ottawa-Gatineau Region, as well as expeditions to Georgian Bay, Temagami, the Maine Coast, the Bahamas and of course, Jamaica.

Doug May
Doug has been instructing with Ottawa Valley Kayak for the past 4 years. Doug's wealth of experience and great sense of humour ensure that our paddlers learn proper techniques in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. An avid outdoorsman, he's been canoing, kayaking and camping since he was 11 years old.Off the water Doug teaches Wing Chun Kung Fu - but don't be afraid. He hasn't had to use these skills on any of our paddlers yet. Be sure to ask him to demonstrate his famous Outside Slap Block and Roll - greenland style.

Donna Ferguson
Donna enjoys introducing newcomers to the sport of kayaking. Her patient and positive teaching style help new paddlers feel comfortable on the water.

Bandit
Bandit is a 4-year old Australian Shepherd and works hard at being the OVK mascot - welcoming paddlers and watching over the gear.
